Whether it is parcel routing or a mobile app – there is always highly developed IT behind it. GLS IT is responsible for the tools and systems involved. Our employees organize the IT for more than 840 million parcels in 41 country subsidiaries and partners at over 1600 locations.
As a Requirements Engineer within the CORE Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping our shipment processes to enhance efficiency and agility. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of requirements within agile frameworks, driving the transformation of our CORE.

What can you expect with us?
- As a Requirements Engineer, you will support your Stream Aligned team in the Shipment domain to sustainably increase the value of their products throughout the entire lifecycle
- Together with the Product Owner, you will identify, analyze, document and prioritize requirements in Epics and User Stories and maintain them in the Product Backlog
- Together with your team, you will develop iteratively in small steps, get direct customer/stakeholder feedback and regularly measure the value of your products
- Together with your team

- You will work "T-shaped", supporting your team with documentation and technical testing

- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable field of study
- Experience as Requirements Engineer
- Experience in specifying complex IT systems and working in heterogeneous system landscapes
- Practical experience in software design, development or technical testing
- Experience in the transport and logistics or CEP (courier, express, parcel) industry is an advantage
- Being a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) is an advantage
- High level of comprehension, good self-organisation and results orientation
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on company’ success
- Self-driven, careful and reliable with strong customer focus, openness, good communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent English and German skills mandatory
