What can you expect with us?

Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and minimize downtime.
Platform Solutions: Oversee the configuration, deployment, upgrade and management of our platform products including Google Apigee for API management, Dynatrace for observability, Kafka for event streaming and many more.
Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployment.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to provide support and solutions for various infrastructure and platform needs for their applications.
Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting processes to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.
Security & Compliance: Ensure that all platform solutions and infrastructure components adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

What do you bring to the table?

• Experience: Several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a related role.
• Education: a computer sciences or information sciences degree, or a comparable training
• Skills:
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Atlantis or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with IaC and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Confluent Kafka, Google Apigee and/or Lobster is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Mindset: Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Communication: Ability to understand and present complex ideas in English. German language is a plus.
