Full Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

From parcel data to automated delivery decisions – modern logistics depend on smart, data-driven systems. As part of the GLS IT organization, we design and operate scalable solutions that process millions of parcels across Europe and ensure seamless integration between core systems, microservices, and operational workflows.

What can you expect with us?

  • You will translate product ideas from our business departments into deployable code using modern standards and technology
  • Together with your team you design, develop, and integrate event-driven microservices that take smart decisions for delivery preferences based on parcel and consignee data
  • You will drive and support architectural decisions, ensuring our solutions align with performance, scalability, and security requirements
  • You will work closely together with cross-functional teams to build cloud-native solutions that improve data quality, reduce manual effort and enhance the end-to-end delivery experience
  • You will be part of an international agile team in a stable economic environment
  • You work on digital products with tangible results that bring joy to people every day

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have a university degree in computer science/engineering or comparable
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservice-based architecture
  • Practical experience with AWS and cloud-based deployment models with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
  • Frontend development experience, preferably with Angular
  • Strong quality mindset with experience in automated testing and CI/CD
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions
  • You use AI tooling on a daily basis
  • You are a team player, who enjoys sharing your knowledge and always looks for a good solution for the team, product and company
